From the author…

Like so many others in 2020, I suddenly found myself leading from a laptop screen, navigating time zones, Zoom fatigue, and the very real fear that connection and trust might wither without the glue of daily office life. What surprised me was not just that we adapted, but that we often thrived. We built new traditions, discovered unexpected creativity, and realized that being physically apart didn’t have to mean being disconnected. What was born of crisis has since evolved into a lasting transformation of the workplace.

The REMOTE Leadership Framework is being shared now because, while certain CEOs continue to insist on robust return-to-office (RTO) policies, the individuals who lead teams scattered over numerous time zones and cultures cannot afford to lag behind in the continuously evolving workplace.  Organizations are wrestling with questions of productivity, culture, and connection across distance—and their leaders need real answers.  It was living with and through various teams’ struggles and breakthroughs that gave me the conviction to synthesize knowledge and necessity into a book.

“Leaders today face a reality that is no longer optional or experimental: teams are distributed, and leadership practices must adapt accordingly.”
